Logo Licensing
The Landcare brand is important to the landcare community, so Landcare Australia protects the integrity of the trademarks and manages logo use carefully.
Registered Trademarks
Landcare Australia, Junior Landcare, Coastcare, Landcare Agriculture, Landcare caring hands logos, and Landcarer are registered trademarks of Landcare Australia.
Landcare Australia owns and manages the use of these trademarks, including original and refreshed versions of Landcare, Coastcare, Junior Landcare, and Landcare Agriculture logos.
Who Can Request A Group Logo
Eligible groups include:
- Local community-based environmental volunteer groups focused on sustainable land management and conservation.
- Groups such as Landcare, Coastcare, Friends of, Bushcare, Dunecare, Rivercare, and Junior Landcare groups.
- Landcare state and territory representative bodies.
Getting A Group Logo
Eligible groups can register on the National Landcare Directory to request a logo pack. Landcare Australia provides group logo packs at no cost, and each logo must include the group name.
Restricted Use
Organisations that are not eligible Landcare entities need a contractual agreement with Landcare Australia that includes a logo licence. This includes government agencies, NRM organisations, commercial organisations, corporate partners, philanthropic partners, and other third-party users.
Caring Hands And Old Logos
The caring hands must only be used as part of an approved logo that includes a group name. The old pre-2010 Landcare logo must not be used by groups or organisations.
